If you’ve been enjoying your new Blisslights Sky Lite projector, you may have noticed that it’s been making a bit of noise.
A lot of people have been dealing with this issue, but what can be done about it? Keep reading to find out.
What causes Blisslights Sky Lite projector to make noise?
Most people who have bought and used Blisslights Sky Lite projector have been happy with the results. However, a few have had issues with the machine itself, primarily the loud clicking noise it makes.
Some people have even had to return the product because of this issue. While this seems to be a common problem, the manufacturer has not yet addressed it.
The constant rotating of the internal mechanism has either worn something out or grease has dried up. Turning the rotating motion off can help eliminate the clicking sound while the projector is still turned on.
How to fix Blisslights Sky Lite projector clicking noise?
To fix the clicking noise you will have to open up the projector. If you’re not comfortable with opening up your projector, it’s best to send your current unit back to the manufacturer to get a replacement sent back to you.
However, this doesn’t guarantee the projector won’t create the same clicking noise again.
Make sure your Blisslights Sky Lite projector has been turned off. To open up the projector, remove the four screws keeping the plastic cover together. Avoid touching any of the internal lenses. Locate the gears and spray some lubricant on them.
Turn on your projector to see if you can still hear the clicking noise. You can also check out the video for a better understanding of where to spray the lubricant.
Although we’ve shown you how to fix the clicking noise your Blisslights Sky Lite projector is making, it’s important to note that this doesn’t guarantee the problem won’t occur again.
If you don’t feel comfortable opening up your projector, we suggest returning it to the manufacturer and request a replacement. We hope that by following these simple steps, you will be able to enjoy your projector for many seasons to come without any irritating noises.
