When it comes to functionality, the Nest allows users to Auto-schedule temperatures and settings depending on the time of the day and situation.
We did find that this feature works as intended, and the Nest can be easily controlled using the iOS/Android App.
One thing that we loved about the Nest-App integration is the fact that it allows you to see your energy usage history, showing you how much energy you’ve been using as well as the areas of opportunity that will allow you to have a more efficient home.

NEST LEARNING SMART THERMOSTAT REVIEW CONS
While the Auto-away feature is supposed to automatically adjust your temperature and learn from your routine, the actual functionality of this feature still needs some work.
We did find that the Nest would sometimes heat up the house a few degrees above or below of our normal temperature ranges though this can be easily fixed using the app.
While the Nest smart thermostat does a fantastic job as a learning thermostat.
We did find that both the auto-away feature and the green leaf that selects the most efficient temperature for your home could use some work as it seems like it takes both of these features a very long time to learn your schedule and habits.
